[ClickPress, Wed Jun 07 2006] Temple420.org, the first legal Marijuana Church to open since the Supreme Court's landmark ruling on “Gonzales vs. O Centro Espirita,” today announced it has entered into an affiliation with an international, religious sacramental herb provider. As a result, Temple420.org members can now buy sacramental cannabis and have it shipped directly to their homes.
By visiting www.temple420.org, which is open to the public, members simply visit the “Forum Section” and click on the “Where To Buy Sacrament” for information. Of course, only members and medical Marijuana patients are legally allowed to conduct business with the Temple’s new provider.
Speaking about the Temple's new affiliation with a cannabis provider, Craig X Rubin, founder of Temple420.org said, “This is one of many affiliations we intend to enter into in order to provide our Temple members with the best products and services for religious worship.”

The Temple’s “Forum Section” is active with prospective members in dialogue together or posing questions to Rubin, or other cannabis experts who responds to them quickly and effectively. “The goal of Temple420 is to spread the Word of God," said Reverend Craig X Rubin, founder of Temple420.org. "There are still many people in the world who have not heard the good news that God loves them. Marijuana smoking, although not necessary to being a member, is what personally led me to discover the truth about the Bible."

Launched on April 20, 2006, Temple420.org is the first legal Marijuana Church to open since the landmark Supreme Court Case “Gonzales vs. O Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal”. In this historic case, with Chief Justice Roberts delivering the opinion, the high Court ruled in a unanimous decision (8-0) that:
The Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, requires the government to permit the importation, distribution, possession, and use of a Schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance, even when Congress has found that the substance has a high potential for abuse, it is unsafe for use even under medical supervision, and its importation and distribution would violate an international treaty. Marijuana is a Schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance. The Supreme Court has ruled that religious freedom is more important than drug laws.
