Totseat wins top prize

Totseat, founded by Directors Rachel Jones and Michael Groves, has won the Grand Prix for best Scottish design at the glittering 2005 awards ceremony in Glasgow. The judges awarded Totseat, the washable, squashable highchair, the Grand Prix for its superb combination of form, function and general all round design excellence.
Commenting on the award, Rachel Jones said:

"We are completely overwhelmed with our success at the awards and winning the grand prix for our product design is absolutely fantastic. It makes all those late nights and the hard work that the Totseat team has put in, so worthwhile."

Totseat, founded in 2004, has already been a runner-up in the Baby Products Association awards. The funky product is rapidly establishing itself as the brand-leading fabric highchair in the UK. It is sold in John Lewis, leading regional independent baby stores and through www.totseat.com.

The firm is now expanding its reach across Europe and exploring new fabric designs, positioning Totseat as the must-have travel accessory for families on the go.
