TCL & Alcatel Mobile Phones selects Ikivo’s mobile SVG Player and Animator authoring tool

Paris, France & Stockholm, Sweden - TCL & Alcatel Mobile Phones SAS, a leading global mobile phone manufacturer, designing products under the Alcatel brand, and Ikivo AB (formerly Zoomon) the market leader in mobile SVG solutions, today announced that TCL & Alcatel Mobile Phones has licensed Ikivo’s mobile SVG Player on a global software licence and distribution agreement to support its operator range of products.

The Ikivo SVG Player is the market leading solution for mass-market mobile phones that enable a richer media experience based on Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). With the Ikivo SVG Player solution, mobile phones are enabled for advanced services such as handset personalisation, mobile browsing, screensavers, themes and mobile UI design based on SVG Tiny (W3C).

TCL & Alcatel Mobile Phones will also include the complete product profiles of the devices into the Ikivo Animator for easy, mass-market content creation. Integrated into the Adobe® Creative Suite®, Ikivo Animator provides a one stop authoring solution and intuitive mobile design workflow for the creation of professional animated content for mass-market mobile devices.
