PanoraMagique gives visitors the chance to ascend to the skies above Disneyland® Resort Paris for a six-minute trip, by day or night. It gives an unparalleled view of the surroundings within a 20-kilometre radius, from a height of about 100 metres.

PanoraMagique has been designed by Aérophile, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of captive balloons. It is the newest and largest of the Aero30 model, with 1,600m2 of fabric, a 23-metre diameter, a circumference of 73 metres, and a height of 36 metres. It has a quick mooring system and a landing platform that was specially designed for the Disney® lake. PanoraMagique uses cutting-edge technology, is clean and silent and can be completely dismantled.
Aérophile has signed an agreement with Disneyland® Resort Paris to operate PanoraMagique for seven years, through its specially created subsidiary, Aérotourism. A team of five people (three pilots, including a site captain, and two stewards) will greet the visitors and look after them on the flight, as well as maintaining the balloon. With a target of 100,000 passengers a year, PanoraMagique should be profitable in its first year of operation.

About Aérophile

Aérophile SA, headquartered in Chantilly (north of Paris), was founded in 1993 and is one of the leading companies in the building and operation of captive balloons with its key products – the Aero30 (a giant captive balloon that can carry 30 people) and the Aero2 (a mobile captive balloon with two seats). As both aircraft manufacturer and operator, Aérophile has designed 32 systems which have been sold or are operated in 18 countries. In 2000, the company won France’s Innovation Grand Prix.

The PanoraMagique can be accessed through the Disney® Village, reached by train from central Paris (Metro RER A: Marne la Vallée, Chessy). Seat prices are €12 for adults, €6 for children from three to twelve years of age, and free for children under three.
