ABC11 Eyewitness News (www.abc11.com) has announced that anchor Larry Stogner will speak at the Veteran’s Edge conference on Tuesday, May 18 at the Brier Creek Country Club, located at 9400 Club Hill Dr. Hosted by the Triangle Technology Executives Council (www.ncttec.net) and the Raleigh-Wake Human Resource Management Association’s (www.rwhrma.org), the event will focus on providing veterans with the information and encouragement they need to make the transition from the military to the business world.

- Stogner has been an anchor at ABC11 since 1976. He anchors Eyewitness News at 6 p.m.

- As a Vietnam veteran in the U.S. Air Force, he has since traveled to Vietnam in 1995 to report on the 20th anniversary of the fall of Saigon, accompanied units of the 82nd Airborne Division into Afghanistan, traveled to the Persian Gulf to cover the ongoing conflict with Iraq, and traveled to the Adriatic Sea, as U.S. Navy warplanes hammered targets in Kosovo and Yugoslavia.
