Qiu Hu goes plans revenge after a prison break. However his enemy, Jiao, is dead which leaves his wife Mrs. Jiao and her son Da-xing. By coincidence Qiu Hu runs into a lady called Jin Zi, who once had an innocent affection for him. However she is now married to the daughter in law of Jiao.

Love flourishes between the young couple and their relationship is confirmed when Qiu Hu kills Da-xing. Qiu Hu runs into the forest with his beloved. In a twist Jun Zi escapes from police custody and Qiu Hu tragically commits suicide.

The Shanghai Opera House is an exceptional venue and gives life to this riveting opera. The Shanghai Opera House was founded in the 1950’s and started performing famous works of opera, symphonies, dance shows as well as musical theatre.
