Searcy Arkansas Used Bookstore, Imagination Pages, Meets Community At Get Down Downtown Festival

Used bookstore, Imagination Pages, is scheduled to be present at the Get Down Downtown event in Searcy, Arkansas, September 24-25, 2010. This event provides the opportunity for local businesses to meet and greet the members of Searcy’s community and get to know each other. This annual event provides free music performances by local artists both days of the event, fun events for kids, and offerings by local businesses.

Beginning Friday evening at 6 pm and continuing Saturday from 10 am until the music stops that evening, Imagination Pages, a used bookstore near the downtown Square, along with other local merchants, will be offering discounts, information and the opportunity to meet them and their staff. Besides the great discounts on used books, Imagination Pages will be launching their online store at this event, allowing their patrons to purchase great used books online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

"I thought this event was the perfect time to launch this new aspect of our business because we already have some great customers who we will be seeing at this event. Additionally, this new aspect of our service to the Searcy community is something we can also get the word out about to those who may not yet know we are here," explains Debra Seibert, owner and operator of Imagination Pages, used bookstore in Searcy.

Imagination Pages has been in business for over a year and has a large selection of used, and well-loved books at prices book-lovers enjoy.

"We are also interested in encouraging people to read more. We have recently partnered with teachers in Searcy to provide even deeper discounts so students have more access to books. At the Get Down Downtown event we will have a drawing just for teachers, giving away a gift certificate for books for the classroom," Debra continues. "Our newest push has been a program we call "Get Caught Reading" where local Searcy residents get caught reading out and about in the Searcy area and win gift certificates and discounts. We think it’s a great way to make reading fun for everyone."
