DirectRooms – Sportfreunde Stiller and Kate Nash headline in Vienna on 6 December 2010

The two acts will be performing songs from their best selling albums which include Sportfreunde Stiller’s ‘La Bum’ which reached number one in the German charts in 2007, the 2006 LP ‘You Have to Win Zweikampf’ and 2004’s ‘Burli (Little Boy)’. Nash will be following the band with songs from her platinum selling album ‘Made of Bricks’ which also went to number one in the UK.

The English singer and songwriter is sure to entertain audiences with the hit single ‘Foundations’ that reached number two in the UK charts along with ‘Do-Wah-Doo’ from the 2010 album ‘My Best Friend Is You’.

Sportfreunde Stiller have had a series of hits and at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards in Denmark were nominated for Best German Act. Fans can look forward to renditions of ‘Siehst du gas genauso?’ (Do you see it the same way?) and ’54, ’74, ’90, 2006.

Fans will need to check into Vienna hotels close to the Wiener Stadthalle where the concert will take place on 6th December 2010. Tickets for the event cost approximately €30 depending on the position within the arena.
