simply-communicate.com has gone live with a new web resource to help Britain’s managers be better internal communicators, built using Sift’s online engagement platform.
The site is targeted not only at internal communications professionals, but at all business disciplines, and aims to improve the way in which Britain’s managers communicate with their employees.
Poor corporate communicators may be harming their businesses by causing staff to feel disengaged, or by having talented people leave because of poor dialogue with management. The Government has already flagged the importance of good employee communications with the introduction of the Information & Consultation Directive, threatening firms with £75,000 fines if they fail to inform employees correctly of major internal company changes.
Marc Wright, founder of simply-communicate.com and an experienced practitioner in the field of corporate communications said:
"Internal communication is still a young discipline and the theory is often difficult to understand. simply-communicate.com aims to bridge that skills gap, helping managers to be better communicators. Working with Sift ensures that the simply-communicate.com resource is guided by expert advice and built on a proven web platform – both of which are central to its success."
Helen Trim, sales and marketing director at Sift, comments:
"simply-communicate.com aims to satisfy an important industry need through creating a vibrant network of professionals in this field. The site offers industry news, events, a company directory and its community tools enable members to share their experiences and offer advice. Sift is very pleased to be part of the team."
