The Terreal Façade Book — ‘Terracotta and Architecture’ — is published in five languages (French, English, Spanish, Italian and German). This reflects Terreal's international dimension — a successful and fast-growing company whose products and concepts accompany architects and other specialists across the world in their various projects (from China and the USA to Spain and England). The Terreal Façade Book includes interviews with architects.

Organised along product lines, this technical guide provides detailed information on fields of application (direct installation, wall-cladding installation, etc.), on treatment for particular points (corners, how to deal with openings, as well as outlets and inlets), and on methods of gauging. A complete section of the book is devoted to a façade shade-sheet, including some original colours for terracotta (greys, browns, blacks, and many more) developed by Terreal, on top of the company’s traditional colour range (i.e. red-orange). Terreal's innovation does not stop at new colours, however, but also encompasses new types of cladding, sun-screens and facing panels, all made of terracotta. One chapter is also devoted to terracotta cladding used for acoustic correction, both inside a building and outside.

The Terreal Roofing Book is designed for use by property developers, architects and roofers, at the various stages of building a roof. The choice of tiles, photographs and technical descriptions helps define which model is most appropriate for the project conditions that apply and given prevailing aesthetic preferences. As for project preparation, all the accessories are illustrated for each model of tile, with their dimensions, weight and catalogue reference. One chapter is an installation guide, which makes it very easy to understand the principles of installing tiles and accessories, with many photos and explanations. The Terreal Roofing Book presents five families of tiles reflecting the diversity and wealth of architecture in European roofs. It is published in English.
Terreal’s reference books will be sent to interested professionals on request addressed directly to the company, or via FTPB (see full contact details).
