COME DISCOVER WHAT'S "AROUND THE BLOG" AT NEW BLOGGING PLANET-SPONSORED EVENT, OCTOBER 11 IN PARIS

PARIS, September 5, 2005....Blogging Planet today announced its new event, "Around the Blog", to take place on October 11, 2005 in Paris, France. This one-day event is designed to introduce an anticipated audience of 200 business professionals to the tools complementary to blogs: RSS; audio/podcasts; photos, video/vodcasts; and tracking/buzz measurement. The day will close with a series of case studies and a look at the future of participatory communications, followed by an evening party.

Set up as a series of panel discussions, the event will address how these tools can be applied to various business challenges. There will be a series of five panels, preceded by a keynote address by Loic Le Meur, the executive vice president, Europe, of SixApart. The panels include:

* Photos, Photo Blogs and Videoblogging
* Tracking/Listening to the Blogosphere
* Case Studies/Looking at the Future of Participatory Communications
