DirectRooms.com – Brussels to host European Seafood Exposition 2011

European Seafood Exposition (ESE) 2011 will feature the largest representation of seafood exhibitors worldwide with over 1,600 exhibitors showcasing products in a range of categories. All types of produce will be on display from freshly caught fish to frozen and canned goods such as sardines and mackerel. Suppliers will also be offering various types of fish including more exotic varieties for customers with special requirements.

Alongside the actual fish stands companies will be showing equipment and machinery used by the industry such as handling equipment, processors and storage facilities to ensure the highest levels of hygiene. Attendees can additionally find a number of services relevant to the market which will include insurance, transportation and IT goods.

Running at the show is the Seafood Prix d’Elite, which is the equivalent of the Oscars for the seafood industry, where awards are given out to the best products developed for foodservice and retail purposes. Judges will be awarding prizes for the winners related to areas like packaging, convenience and innovative product lines.

Attendees travelling directly from a hotel Brussels Airport should head to the Brussels Expo center where the show will run from 2nd to 4th May 2011.
