The main aim of the conference this year will be to promote development and research in nanotechnologies as well as in microelectronic systems and devices.
Participants can submit papers to the conference outlining their own involvement in the field and the advances that have been made by their research teams. The papers presented will be theoretical and conceptual, to provide a succinct overview of the state of play in the microelectronics and nanotechnologies industries, with an emphasis on their possible practical applications.
In recent years the research on nanomaterials has yielded a range of possibilities for the future applications of products incorporating them, especially and most excitingly in biology, photonics and electronics.
The conference will explore amongst other things the relation between nanomaterials and nan devices and the areas in which research should now be concentrated.
Visitors expected to attend will include those representing the academia and research institutions as well as industrial leaders in the field and students hoping to contribute in the near future.
