ADCCI COMMENDS THE KANOO GROUP’S EMIRATISATION EFFORTS

Dubai, September 15, 2005: The Kanoo Group, the leading diversified business conglomerate in the United Arab Emirates, was commended by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) for their commitment towards Emiratisation. In a prestigious awards ceremony held at ADCCI, Mr. Mohamed Omar Abdullah, Director General of the ADCCI, awarded The Kanoo Group a Certificate of Appreciation for their participation in the highly successful Summer Training Programme â€" Tamkeen 2005.

The objective of the Tamkeen Programme was to empower students with knowledge about the practical working environment. The Kanoo Group was among the five high-profile local organisations to participate in the programme along with the ADCCI. Students were able to interact with the participating organisations, with the ADCCI acting as the intermediary between the students and the organisations.
