Folk, Baroque and Roll will see Marcie and Paul Forrest taking to the stage to perform a variety of fan’s favourites incorporating a multitude of musical styles. Audiences can look forward to hearing the vocal talents of Marcie as she sings everything from folk to pop songs. Paul will be providing the backup on the guitar and the pair will also perform classical music and rock n’ roll so there’s something for all musical tastes at the concert.
In addition to the guitar Paul will be showing his ability to play a wide selection of instruments include the bass, mandolin and flute and showing why he’s been the lead flautist, guitarist and singer for The Dayglo Pirates, a tribute band to the legendary Jethro Tull. Marcie is an accomplished flautist herself and along with some solo performances she’ll be showing off her opera voice from when she was a member of the Operatic Society in the UK.
Marcie hails from Israel and this is a chance for fans to catch the singer who is famous in the country for her TV and radio performances. Folk fans booked into Haifa hotels can see Footsteps playing at Bnei Brith in the city on 5th July 2011.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: "The concert will push up demand for hotels in the area so for anyone attending they should secure a place online."
