HMCS was founded in 1980. After many years of working with major home care agencies and conducting trainings and consultations in nutrition, meal planning, budgeting and consumer education, our service had begun to research the singles' market. In 1986 we started a pen pal service along with a newsletter called HMCS. After advertising in various singles' and pen pal publications, we were receiving personal ads and photos of men and women from around the world.

Rather than seeking pen pals only, many singles were searching for long-term relationships and/or marriage minded and broadminded partners. We decided to change the name of our publication to HMCS Romance International. Our adult oriented publication now contains personals ads, photos, and names and addresses of singles of all colors, age (18+) and lifestyles. If you are seeking friendship, fun, romance, marriage, broadminded contacts, a long-term or long distance relationship, business or professional contacts or just wish to connect with others who have similar interests – then, our service is for YOU. You will meet singles that are college students, business people, retirees, professionals, property owners, entrepreneurs, etc. There are no forwarding letters or forwarding fees. You write directly to the person that interest you.

In October of 2001 HMCS Romance International moved to the World Wide Web. This site is primarily for people who do not have Internet access. You can have your personal ad along with a photo published in our printed publication. If one wishes, the same ad will appear on-line. If you choose to advertise on-line, your name and address will never be published. The publication is available through snail mail or can be ordered on-line.
