Dubai, September 24, 2005: As Gitex celebrates 25 years, Emirates Computers celebrates 27 years in business and 24 years at Gitex. Emirates Computers will be exhibiting at the same place (Hall 4 / D 4-1) this year as it has been in the previous years. Emirates Computers plans to showcase several leading application solutions, demonstrate innovative technology solutions and organise impressive presentations for visitors at Gitex 2005. Emirates Computers will also be at Gitex Shopper with amazing offers and surprises.

“Gitex 2005 is going to be bigger, better and very exciting. We have a lot of surprises in store for visitors, both at Gitex and Gitex Shopper. We will be showcasing several innovative products and technologies,� says Hani Harik, President of Emirates Computers.

In Hall 4 of the main exhibition, Emirates Computers will showcase its innovative solutions. The firm has dedicated sections for its partners DELL and Vignette, in addition to having more than twelve demo stations and sections focusing on solutions that have never before been shown in the region, including Nokia’s latest ‘pen and paper’ technology and applications, push mail technology and many more world class solutions.

Keen to keep most of the details under wraps until the big day, Harik describes the latest ‘pen and paper’ technology as “the most intuitive form of data capture,� and says it will be of huge benefits not only to enterprise clients but also to those working in key verticals such as healthcare. “We will be flying in Nokia experts from Europe to demonstrate it. People will be amazed by the solution,� he adds.

In addition to showcasing its leading application solutions, Emirates Computers will also showcase its Smart living (and smart home) solution, for individuals looking at taking the best out of technology for personal entertainment, better way of life, and an exceptional experience for the senses.
