Universal Guardian's Secure Risks Receives Extension and Expansion of U.S. Army Security Contract

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Universal Guardian Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UGHO - News), a full service provider of security products and services to mitigate terrorist, criminal and security threats for governments and businesses worldwide, announced today that its Secure Risks Strategic Security Solutions business unit (SSSI) has secured a continuation contract to provide protection services to the US Army in Afghanistan. This extension represents the first of three option years on the original contract, and includes an expansion in the scope of services to be provided under the contract.

The Total contract value now stands at $1,275,252 for the coming 12 months. The US Army has two additional one-year contract options.
