DirectRooms.com – International performing arts groups entertain Darwin between 11 and 28 August 201

Audiences can see artists that are some of the best at what they do and this includes acts such as the Sydney Dance Company who have redefined breathtaking dance with their production of ‘We Unfold’.

Possibly Australia’s finest live act for original music and lyrics, The Herd will also be on stage just for one night and anyone new to their show is sure to be thrilled at how they manage to combine music, MCs, poetry, electric guitar, Hip Hop and laptops into a very individual show.

The festival is a celebration of the arts in all its forms and as such the event incorporates comedy, cabaret, music, theatre, outdoor concerts and film to show how arts are modernising to ensure the edge of the seat factor still exists. One act in particular that is revolutionising circus, magic and dance is Cantina.

The show pulls audiences into a dark world of drinking, desire and heartbreak all portrayed through athletic acrobatics, illusions and sensual dance.

The performances will run at different venues throughout Darwin but all between 11th and 28th August 2011. Over 75,000 people are expected this year and this will greatly affect being able to get a room at a hotel Darwin.
