Confirmed artists in the line up so far include: Kayne West and Pulp who will headline the event; Kaizers Orchestra, Aphex Twin, Performing Violeta, Fleet Foxes, Stranglehold, 120 Days, The Jayhawks, James Blake, Bring me the Horizon and more.
Oya boasts green ethics and is recognised as the most environmentally friendly festival in Norway, claiming to offer 100% ecological food.
As always, on the last day of the festival the opening concert will be one to remember. The show starts at 1pm and is traditionally the fullest and longest day. Hurra Torpedo will kick start the day with a special performance and will be followed by acts such as The Avett Brothers, Jamie XX and Crystal Fighters.
Night-time Oya are concerts that take place around the city after the main concert in Medieval Park closes each night at 11pm. A separate ticket will need to be purchased for these gigs but holders of a valid daytime pass will be granted a discount.
For festivalgoers who need accommodation, a hotel Oslo is good solution, with many to choose from. Early booking is recommended, however, as 5-day festival passes have already sold out.
Day tickets are still available for Thursday, Friday and Saturday and cost 730 NOK each.
