David Finch, president and CEO of ATCOM Business Telecom Solutions, a communications solutions provider, has announced that the company has inked a deal to provide Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone systems to Nuestro Banco, the first bank chartered in North Carolina that focuses solely on the Hispanic market. ATCOM will provide the bank with the latest VoIP platform, which will promote communications between the offices and the highest levels of customer service for their clientele. ATCOM will also provide scalability to accommodate the growing business, which plans to expand both in N.C. and surrounding states. The package includes a Unified Messaging system, which will provide Nuestro Banco with access to e-mail, voicemail and faxes using Outlook Web access, and an integrated approach providing consultation and support on equipment and carrier services.

Having raised $10 million from investors, Nuestro Banco opened its first branch office in mid-July on Garner Station Boulevard in Garner and plans to open a second branch within one year and up to five more locations by the third year.
