Allied Electronics Receives NEDA Channel Marketing Awards

Fort Worth, Texas – Allied Electronics, a subsidiary of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), recently received six Channel Marketing Awards for effective marketing campaigns from the National Electronic Distributors Association (NEDA).

Allied brought home six awards from the 2005 NEDA Executive Conference held in Chicago last week. The awards include:

Platinum Excellence Award for Corporate Brochure
Platinum Excellence Award for Image Advertising
Gold Achievement Award for Company Web Site
Gold Achievement Award for Direct Mail (Electronic)
Gold Achievement Award for Direct Mail (Print)
Gold Achievement Award for Corporate Line Card

NEDA hosts the annual marketing competition to recognize the marketing efforts of its distributor and manufacturer members. Entries are judged by business-to-business marketing professionals and are based on criteria such as the advertisement's high degree of visual interest, proper audience targeting and emphasis on the service provided.
