APRIL 28-29 AT SCOTTSDALE’S WESTWORLD
McDowell Mountain Music Festival

Just The Ticket For Tent, RV Campers

Music fans who don’t want to miss a minute of the on-stage action and aren’t looking forward to splitting up a concert experience with a drive home, or are looking for a great weekend getaway in Arizona, are invited to camp in their tent or recreational vehicles during the McDowell Mountain Music Festival scheduled April 28-29 at Scottsdale’s WestWorld, 16601 N. Pima Road.

A good part of WestWorld’s polo field will be dedicated to those who want to "stay over" in a camping area designed for tents as well as motor homes, in effect creating a community of music lovers who enjoy interacting with other people and participating in an adventure for people of all ages.

Camping always provides a great time for the kids, so bring them along as the McDowell Mountain Music Festival is a family event with a special "Kids Area" and activities for the younger set.

Continuous music, including known bands and featured artists performing a variety of music including rock, rhythm and blues, soul, Southern, jazz and Tex-Mex, will be on stage from 1:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, April 28 and 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 29.

Parking areas for self-contained RVs will be available for $20 per night (including electricity and water hookups). Tent campers will pay $15 per night. Restrooms, showers and power will be available. Food and drinks will be available on site.

Camping fees are in addition to the advance admission fees of $33 per person for Friday and $38 for Saturday. A $65 two-day ticket is also available. Gate admission will cost $38 for Friday, $43 for Saturday and $75 for the two days. Youth admission is $12 per day (ages 6-12) while students (ages 13-22) is $20 per day. Children 5 and under, when accompanied by an adult ticket buyer, may attend for no charge.

In addition, VIP passes, which include a private area, complimentary food and beverage, tables, chairs, shade, side-stage platform access and parking, are available for $175 per day for adults and $85 per day for children ages 16 and under.

Proceeds from the Festival will benefit non-profit youth at risk organizations.
