In recognition of the growing importance of the companyÂ’s offering and in order to better serve their customers throughout the UK and Europe, ITS Technologies Limited has secured an exclusive distribution agreement with Guangdong based, Shenzhen First Mile Communications Limited for the distribution and support of a range of active components to meet the demand for Fibre to their Home (FTTH) and Fibre to the Premises (FFTP) role out across Europe.
Shenzhen First Mile Communications Limited, based in mainland China develops and manufactures next generation all-optical access network equipment that provide reliable and cost effective solutions for FTTH and FTTP markets and for applications where users are beyond the reach of traditional copper cables.
The new company, ITS First Mile Limited has been created to further develop this initiative and is a wholly owned subsidiary of ITS Technologies Limited and will be based at the companyÂ’s head office situated in the Heath Business and technical Park, Runcorn, Cheshire.

The company will be supported by the GroupÂ’s CTO, Kate Lowes, an experienced executive within the European marketplace. Competently staffed, the key functions of ITS First Mile will include:
Dealer/distributor management across Europe
Sales support to distributors/OEM partners
Technical support, service/maintenance, onâ€site installations
ITS First Mile will be fully responsible for all aspects of the marketing and technical support activities throughout Europe, Shenzhen First Mile Communications will continue to provide guidance and support in production, research & development and regulatory affairs. Order processing and shipment will be controlled from Runcorn, Cheshire to each respective country.
