Homes and Villas Abroad signs deals for new selection of Italian lake condos

The lakes of northern Italy have for long mesmerised visitors – Lord Shelley and Henry James to name just two – with some of the country's most appealing real estate to be found here.

Now Homes and Villas Abroad, one of the major property in Italy companies, is pleased to announce it is expanding its range of properties that it offers in this area in response to demand from its client base who wish to purchase real estate here.

"The lakes is a location where we were already active, but we decided to find additional partners to assist us in meeting greater demand.

"It is one of the continent’s most in-demand areas but is not as expensive as most people think; our prices begin at around US$125,000 for a one-bedroom condo.

"Despite the likes of George Clooney, airline tycoon Sir Richard Branson and Donatella Versace having pricy villas here, there is something within the reach of practically every budget."

Northern Italy's main lakes are Como, Garda, Maggiore, Iseo and Endine.

Getting in and out of the area is very convenient, thanks to the six airports nearby. The nearest is 30 minutes away in Lugano, just over the Swiss border. There are three others in Milan, all within a 1hr 30min radius, while the final two are slightly further away in Brescia and Verona.
