The Balearic Beats of IBIZA Return to Singapore on May 18th

After a truly unforgettable debut in 2011, where Sonic Vogue DanceFest presented "Amnesia Ibiza" to the strong, almost-over-capacity turn-out at Siloso Beach on Sentosa island, the same folks are now proud to announce that they are bringing back the Balearic beats of Ibiza in "One Way to Ibiza" on May 18th.

Ibiza is hands down the party capital of the world, where global jetsetters, celebrities and clubbers visit every summer. This time, in addition to the Amnesia experience (awarded ‘Best Global Club’ three years in a row at the Miami Winter Music Conference), "One Way to Ibiza" also features another world-renowned club – Pacha Ibiza. Established not only in Ibiza but also around the world as a premiere club brand, this inclusion will no doubt take the "One Way to Ibiza" dancefest up another notch. Or two.

Headlining the festival is Pacha resident, Santiago Cortes. With singles consistently on the UK and European dance charts in the past 5 years, spectacular sets on 3-4 decks, along with his constant tours from Ibiza to the world, Santiago’s status as a top DJ-Producer in the industry is undeniable. With new EP "One Way to Ibiza" now launched and music videos on rotation in MTV-Europe and US, Santiago Cortes looks headed for yet another commercial hit.

Among a breed of young, talented and passionate DJ-Producers are Sonny Wharton and DJ Newklear. Sonny shot to fame by winning a DJ Mag contest leading to sets at Amnesia Ibiza and the infamous Manumission. He has since gone on to rack up slots for the who’s who of clubland with sell-out shows at Space, Pacha and M.O.S. With release ‘Runnin’ at No.1 in the DMC Buzz Chart and new single ‘Monsters’ just released with collaborations in the pipeline alongside Fatboy Slim, X-Press 2 etc., 2013 looks like another a huge year. Newklear, who hails from Iceland, gained notoriety in the space of a couple of years with his multiple mashups, notably Bruno Mar’s "Locked Out of Heaven" ("Locked Out of Brainfreeze" bootleg) and Adele’s "Someone Like You" which are played worldwide in clubs and radio.

Next up is award-winning DJ-Producer CC Sound Factory. Racking up Best Electronica Album/Act Awards at the VIMA/AVIMA Awards (KL) and Toronto Exclusive Magazine Awards (Toronto), CC has performed from New York to KL, Amsterdam to Shanghai and has been the Official DJ of Elite Model Look Singapore (2011/12) as well as the Elite Model Look World Final (2008/11). Singapore’s ‘Muay Thai’ DJ, Zig Zach, known for never failing to rock a party, and who has dj’d the premiere parties and clubs (KM8, Le Noir, Café Del Mar, Aurum etc.) across Singapore and Sentosa Island, completes the exciting lineup.

In true Amnesia Ibiza clubbing style, the entertainment will be backed by sexy go-go dancers as well the Amnesia Ibiza crew of performers – Zeles (drums), Matias (electric guitar) and Elisabet (dancer) – an electrifying trio of performers with reputations for setting the crowd on fire.
