Hyatt Westlake Plaza is pleased to announce the hotel’s $1.7 million renovation is officially complete, and introduces the brand new Harvest Kitchen & Bar, that features a farm to table concept, a newly re-done Atrium bar and upgraded patio with fire pits.
"The community members in Westlake Village are so important to the hotel, and we are so excited to offer Harvest Kitchen & Bar to our loyal and new patrons. Harvest Kitchen & Bar is a brand new dining and food concept for the hotel, and it focuses on farm-to-table cuisine, sourcing from local vendors as much as possible. We are proud to support and give back to the community this way, which supports Hyatt’s overall Thrive, social responsibility philosophy," said General Manager David Coonan.
The new restaurant, Harvest Kitchen & Bar, replaced Bella Terraza, and is the property’s signature restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and light fare throughout the day. Harvest Kitchen and Bar follows Hyatt’s global food philosophy, "Food. Thoughtfully Sourced. Carefully Served," which is grounded in three pillars: healthy people, a healthy planet, and a healthy community. Harvest Kitchen and Bar embodies the philosophy every day by offering guests locally sourced and organic items including Natural Chicken Breast served with hidatsa red bean ragout, Wheat Pappardelle Pasta served with artichokes, basil, garlic and sundried tomato sauce, and Peppered Rib-Eye Steak cooked to perfection with an aromatic rosemary sauce and roasted parsnip mashed potatoes. For small groups and events, Harvest offers two newly renovated and designed private dining areas that can seat up 15 and 16 people respectively.
In addition to the renovation of Harvest Kitchen & Bar, hotel guests will now enjoy the newly renovated Atrium that offers coffee and fresh pastries in the morning, and a light fare menu in the afternoon. Local brews and happy hours are featured daily, and popular menu items include home made flatbread pizzas and savory bourbon glazed baby back ribs.
Dining al fresco is made easy with the hotel’s newly updated outdoor patio area, located steps outside of Harvest. Multiple lounge seating areas, fire pits, a garden gazebo and waterfalls make for the perfect setting to enjoy Southern California living.
