SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Feb. 15, 2005 - SLS International, Inc. (OTCBB: SITI) announced today that it has received multiple orders from distributors for its new Cinema Series products. Recent orders, including one for an 18 screen theater complex and another one for a 14 screen cinema complex, both in Montreal, reflect the growing demand from distributors for deliveries over the next 12 to 18 months. The recent Canadian orders came through SLS' cinema distributor, Big Sky Industries. Big Sky was also responsible for the initial sale and installation at the Wehrenberg Galaxy 14 in Chesterfield, Missouri in December. The speaker systems for the two new Canadian orders have a retail value exceeding $250,000.
"Guests have told me that their movie experience was incredible and the entertainment value has been enriched with the crystal clear sound," said Angelo Alvarez, Managing Director of Wehrenberg Theatres Galaxy 14. "They have told me that the experience of "Phantom of the Opera" that is currently running in our Mega Screen room made them feel like they were at a live production. In the 15 years that I have managed theatres, this is the most unbelievable sound system I've ever heard for a motion picture presentation. The SLS speakers truly deliver live performance sound quality."
"The Cinema market is beginning to embrace our technology and quality of sound reproduction," stated John Gott, President of SLS International. "The success of our first installation at the Wehrenberg Galaxy 14 is spreading. Several executives from cinema companies, including ones from top ten chains, have been to this location to listen to the our speakers systems and their response has been very positive.
Our US and International distributors are presently specifying and quoting many systems to be delivered in the near future and all indications are that this market will expand for us very rapidly. We will be displaying our full line of Cinema products at the upcoming ShoWest industry tradeshow next month and we expect to win over many more buyers with the quality of our products. It is fortunate that we will be in our new facility soon to meet these orders because each new cinema complex usually contains 12 to 16 screens, requiring us to produce large quantities of speakers. We are presently negotiating marketing arrangements with Wehrenberg and expect to do the same with other owners for in building and on screen advertising of our Q Line of Home Theater products that will be released soon. We believe the recognition for our Cinema and Professional products will undoubtedly increase interest among movie attendees and in the minds of consumers for SLS products that they will be able to purchase."
