Procter & Gamble Ukraine TOV dominated the category in 2015 with 35% of value sales. Although the share of the company declined slightly as compared to 2014, Procter & Gamble maintained its leading position due to a wide portfolio within all categories of dishwashing and within different price segments. The main reason why the company lost some share is consumers’ substitution of its brands with more affordable Ukrainian brands.

Industry Prospects

Hand dishwashing is expected to remain the main basis of the category as no significant increase of the possession of dishwashers is expected. Also, people like to us hand dishwashing products and the share of people who use the products not only for cleaning fat but also even for washing up cups is going to increase.
