Deflation and stable GDP growth allowed beverages to grow. Also, foreign trade remains as a driver of growth, while real turnover in retail trade of beverages declined in October and November. Private Label products underperformed within the soft drinks market. Cultured dairy drinks consumption fell into a negative trend in Q4-15, consumers were reserved in their spending and predominately purchased basic products.

* Beer performed well before Q4-15 and during the festive period towards the end of the year, as mild weather was more conducive for drinking beer than traditional mulled wine
