Mumbai IX hosted 1st Mumbai Networker's meet in partnership with ICANN

Mumbai Internet Exchange Hosted a training session on 8th July 2017 on "DNS Security and Root Zone DNSSEC Key Signing Key (KSK) Rollover" in partnership with ICANN at Mumbai office. This was a technical session on DNSSEC/KSK followed by a round table discussion on the policy aspects of DNS Security.
This event was hosted by Mumbai IX, ICANN and co-hosted by Web Werks, ISP Circle & India E Club who were also participants in the event.

This event started with the welcome speech by Nikhil Rathi CEO, Web Werks Data centers. This event included the sessions on DNS Security and KSK rollover in India by distinguished speakers from ICANN. Mr.Samiran Gupta, Head of India for ICANN gave the Introduction to ICANN and role played in India and Mr. Champika Wijayatunga, ICANN’s Regional Security, Stability and Resiliency (SSR) Engagement Manager for the Asia Pacific who covered the training on DNS Route Zone and KSK Rollover and Mr. Nikhil Rathi who discussed about his 21Years of Entrepreneurship and the changes he has seen in IT Infrastructure Industry with respect to security.

Mr. Nikhil Rathi, the CEO, Web Werks Datacenters, said, "We were very excited by the amazing response we received for the event. This platform was enlightened with the presence of networking professionals, technical students, and international guests.
