Wrong Phone in the Wrong Country for Furkan Aibani

Furkan Aibani who is me, took a phone from China which looks exactly like iPhone X of Apple and with the same box which the iPhone x is going to ship in. I was surprised to see the phone so I took one for myself. I asked him 'will this phone work in INDIA' he was 'yes'. I took it for 230$ and I was happy because it was powered by Android and not some crappy china OS. But as I came India the phone was working completely fine but the sim card network was not coming, so I took my phone too many experts and everyone just said me one thing 'You have to put IMEI in this phone' i was like IMEI changing is illegal, still I asked few people to see if they change my phone IMEI or not and guess what? they changed it but still no chance of me getting the network on my phone, so now my phone is just like a dummy here. So if you take any phone from any foreign county please see to it if they have proper IMEI number and don't be wrong as Furkan Aibani.
