Submissions open February 20th for High Art 2018, the world’s only international art competition dedicated to cannabis as muse! Visual artists from around the world are encouraged to enter original artwork for their chance to win a part of $50,000 in prize money!
One grand prize winner will receive $15,000 USD plus the opportunity to select one top-rated international charity to receive an additional $10,000 on their behalf. The list of eligible charities includes The American Red Cross, Amnesty International, PETA, UNICEF, Doctors Without Borders and the International Campaign to End Landmines.
The top 20 artists will receive cash prizes and ten more will receive honorable mentions. One artist will be chosen “Crowd Favorite†via an online vote.
High Art is free to enter and open to all artists in all countries and of all experience levels.
Artists can submit their artwork beginning February 20th via submission form on the Natural Cannabis Company website at www.NaturalCannabis.com/HighArt. Artists must be 18+ and have a valid email and PayPal account to receive cash prizes.
High Art 2017 drew more than 3,000 entries from 63 countries around the world. Winners were announced at 4:20 pm during the annual 420 celebrations on April 20th at The Natural Cannabis Company’s OrganiCann dispensary in Santa Rosa, CA.
In addition to cash awards, top artists are featured on The Natural Cannabis Company’s premium line of cannabis products as well as promoted throughout the year at major art and culture events around the world. Some winning works can be seen at the High Art Gallery located in Santa Rosa, located in the heart of the Sonoma/Napa wine region.
