Short films on socially engaged Buddhism to be screened at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Robin Williams Center
At 7 PM on May 15, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation will host a screening of four original short films, along with a Q & A and panel discussion, at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Robin Williams Center in New York City. The films feature stories on socially engaged Buddhism in the United States and beyond.

The evening will also premiere three documentaries, including "Second Chances," filmed in St. Louis, Missouri; "Compassionate Chaplaincy," filmed in Santa Fe, New Mexico; and "Finding Liberation in Trauma," filmed at the Rikers Island Correctional Center, New York.
The concluding panel discussion will include Sensei Joshin Byrnes, Vice Abbot of Upaya Zen Center; Peter Wallace, Board Member of Inside Dharma and Supervisor at the Laughing Bear Bakery; Justin Von Bujdoss, Staff Chaplain at the NYC Department of Correction; and Han Huang, CEO of Tzu Chi USA.
