Every dog deserves a home. In order to make that happen, Fur-Get Me Not Animal Rescue, Inc has launched a training initiative in order to make pets more adoptable. More than 50% of the dogs that make their way into rescue, do so because of resolvable behaviour issues.
He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion. Our dogs will love and admire the meanest of us, and feed our colossal vanity with their uncritical homage. -- Agnes Repplier
The initiative begins with Shadow. A German Shepherd / Belgian Malinois that has suffered at the hands of humans. She is sweet and kind, loving and loyal yet her repayment is to be death. Shadow and may others could have a chance with proper intensive training to help them recover from the abuses they have suffered. This type of training requires specialization and that requires funding.
