Next week marks the annual LeadingAge Meeting & Expo being held in San Diego, CA. Show dates are Sunday, 10/27 through Wednesday, 10/30. As LeadingAge does each year, there will be a Startup Garage on the exhibit floor for all to peruse the newest innovations when it comes to easing the aging process and caring for our elderly.
One of the newest and groundbreaking startups to be featured in the Startup Garage at LeadingAge is Remote Home Check, the remote monitoring service for families to better care for their elderly loved ones who are aging in place independently and with dignity. Remote Home Check will be focusing on their senior care community solution, One Point by Remote Home Check, which was launched earlier this year. One Point is specifically designed to enhance the quality of care in senior communities using IoT (the Internet of Things).
Elder care communities such as retirement communities, congregational living centers, independent living communities, respite care, assisted living communities, and nursing homes who are seeking to:
- Counteract short staff issues
- Transform from a reactive care approach to a proactive one
- Better manage and mitigate risk
should visit Remote Home Check for a one-on-one demo of One Point in the Startup Garage at booth # B3435.
Jeff Hill, Founder and CEO of Remote Home Check, will also be presenting at the first ever LeadingAge Startup Speed Round. This event is by invitation only, so senior care communities and investors who have not received an invitation may email Sidrah Shayiq at sshayiq@leadingage.org to request one. It’s best to send the invitation request before Friday, 10/25 to ensure it’s received in time and see if there are any seats available.
Jeff will share more about how by integrating non-intrusive, smart technologies One Point is literally at the forefront of IoT for senior care. They are the first proactive monitoring platform on the market for senior care communities. He will go over the capabilities of their MVP (minimum viable product) and discuss particulars about installation, resident configuration, and admin configuration.
Should one miss out on attending the Startup Speed Round, Jeff will be available to answer questions and showcase the One Point demo throughout the event. Demo bookings during the LeadingAge Annual Meeting & Expo can easily be scheduled via Jeff’s calendly link: www.calendly.com/jeff-hill. Executive directors and/or investors will be able to see first-hand the resident ADL (activities of daily living) dashboard, easily noting where and when a resident may need additional help from the care team. The demo will share much more regarding admin needs, etc. One Point encourages scheduling demo time before the event begins to ensure availability during the show.
Beyond remotely monitoring resident ADLs and prioritizing resident care for care staff, One Point can also be configured with customized requests based on the senior care community’s specific needs. Any elder care facility who wants to improve their quality of care so they can outpace their competition, can get in touch with One Point directly on their website: www.onepointseniorcare.com.
