Enterprising Women Names New Members To National Advisory Board

Monica Smiley, publisher and CEO of Enterprising Women magazine (www.enterprisingwomen.com), has named Leah Brown, Bridget Soyka-Smith, Jennifer Collins, Carol Curran and Debra Politte as Enterprising Women National Advisory Board members.

Brown is the owner of Aten Solutions, Inc. (A10), a clinical trials research company in Cary, N.C. She is a co-founder and board member of Diversity Alliance for Science, Inc. and a Triangle Business Impact Leader for 2008. Soyka-Smith is the founder of Soyka Smith Design Studios, an Upper Montclair, NJ-based library furniture dealership and interior design consulting company.
She volunteers her time to redesign and supply new furniture and equipment to local schools in her community, and was a finalist in the 2008 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards. Politte owns Dieb Enterprises, a Hillsboro, MO-based complete sales and service organization that serves bottlers and operators in the vending industry. She is involved in The Workforce Preparation Program, a mentoring program at a community college that prepares women to enter the workplace, and was a finalist in the 2008 Enterprising Women of the Year Awards.
