Global Telco Leaders Learn about Best Practice at Graham Technology HQ

Delegates from companies including TeleDenmark, Belgacom, TeliaSonera, Czech Telecom and Slovak Telecom have been attending a two-day event run by ETIS, the global IT Association for Telecommunications at Graham Technology’s European headquarters in Scotland.

Software services and solutions firm, Graham Technology is the first vendor to be given the opportunity to host the membership group event.

During the two-day event, Graham Technology spoke to delegates about the company’s GT-X technology, which has been used to drive efficiencies and reduce costs within large organisations such as British Telecom, KPN Mobile(Netherlands), Eircom (Ireland), Telecom (New Zealand) and Telkomsel(Indonesia).

Ian Clark, Senior Advisor and Project Director at ETIS, commented: "Graham Technology has clearly built up a great deal of expertise in software and services, and deserves to be better known among Telcos.

"We like the approach that GT has taken towards integration, by focussing on processes. This is fundamental to all companies, and Telcos are no exception. We would like to continue to work closely with Graham Technology."

ETIS members are the major telecommunications companies in Europe. Although often competitors, they are willing to share experiences and ideas to obtain better solutions for the future.

The presentations from the Product Development Director and the following discussions left delegates wanting to know more. More than anything else, ETIS delegates were impressed by the
understanding and expertise of the GT people."
