Foresters launch new stakeholder Personal Pension

Foresters has launched a new Personal Pension to complete its range of low-cost stakeholder schemes. Contributions are invested in Foresters Stakeholder Managed Fund.

This plan meets the Government’s latest standards for simple, flexible, low cost ways of saving and investing. To qualify as stakeholder, products have to meet a number of exacting standards including low "capped" charges, straightforward terms and a risk-controlled investment strategy.

The Personal Pension Plan provides a tax efficient way to build up a retirement fund with savings from as little as £20. Features include a "lifestyle investment strategy" to further reduce the investment volatility by switching to a lower risk fund in the run up to the member’s retirement.
